We were really smitten by these gorgeous emerald green beans in 2022. Highly productive and early to mature. They were a bush bean for us despite other sources calling them a pole bean. Delicious as a cooked dry bean but can also be harvested in the early stages as a green bean.
Named after a Kenyan tribal god, Mbombo, they are said to bring prosperity to the soil and to the people.
