I obtained this bush bean from my friend, Owen Bridge, of Annapolis Seeds and it has come to be one of my favourites because of its huge early production of beautiful pencil-thin, purple pods that stay as a great fresh bean for a long time. A fine garden snack and a delicious cooked snap bean. The small round seeds mature in about 95 days and are purple/creamy white. When dried and cooked, they are creamy in texture.. (Blooming Prairie is a city in Minnesota!)
